Here’s what the process involves

1. Inspection and Assessment: The process begins we conduct a thorough inspection of your carpet. We assess the type of carpet fiber, the presence of stains, and the overall condition of the carpet. This step helps determine the most appropriate cleaning method and solutions to be used.

2. Vacuuming: Before the deep cleaning begins, the carpet is vacuumed using a commercial-grade vacuum cleaner. This step removes dry soil, dust, and debris, which is crucial for an effective deep clean.

3. Spot Treatment: Specific stains and spots are pre-treated with special cleaning solutions to break down tough stains like pet stains, ink, or red wine. This targeted treatment ensures better overall cleaning results.

4. Pre-spray and Agitation: A pre-conditioning agent is applied to the entire carpet area to loosen soil and other residues. This solution is typically allowed to dwell on the carpet for a short period to maximize its effectiveness. Depending on the carpet’s condition, the cleaner may agitate the pre-spray into the fibers using a brush or a specialized machine. This helps further loosen the soil.

5. Shampoo: A rotary machine and carpet bonnet are used to apply shampoo and deodoriser helping to break up dirt deposits.

6. Extraction and Rinse: The most common method used for deep carpet cleaning is hot water extraction, often referred to as steam cleaning. Here, hot water and a cleaning solution are injected deep into the carpet fibers under high pressure. Almost immediately, the solution and any dislodged dirt are extracted using a powerful vacuum. This method not only cleans deeply but also removes detergent residues and most of the moisture, helping reduce drying time.

Professional carpet cleaning is recommended at least once a year or more frequently depending on traffic and usage.
